The Incapabilities of God - Victor king

This might be Good News to most of us but it might be "bad news"   to some. Many of us think that God can do EVERYTHING but the truth is that God is incapable of doing some things.

Well, the Truth is always the Truth and nothing could be further from the Truth and when you know the Truth, the Truth will set you free!!!.

The Truth of the Gospel of   GRACE (Jesus Christ)

There are many Christians who are still believing, trusting, praying, "camping", and even Preaching and teaching on things that God Himself CANNOT do. Yes! there are certain things that God is incapable of doing because the Cross of Jesus Christ. The Cross did some changes. The Cross did not change God but it changed God's response to men.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the Alpha and the Omega. God wanted to love men by His Goodness and Grace all the while. That's His original plan. God wanted man to eat from the Tree of Life and enjoy life but he ate from another tree that God DID NOT want him to eat.

But God still showed His loving kindness to them by Covenants. He wanted to love them by His Grace, Mercy and Love but men wanted the law (exodus). It was NOT God's Heart to give men the law.

Men could not handle God's perfect law so God Himself had to come down to get men back to Him by His Mercy and Grace so that He could love them by His Goodness. He always wanted men to know and see how He could love them not how they could love Him. The bible says that " We love Him, because He first loved us " - 1 John 4:19

Some Christians are still preaching the Law, Sin, Condemnation, Curses, Repentance, Punishments and many other "expired" doctrines. If we are Christians then lets go according to what Christ did and Christ accomplished certain things on the Cross for us that made God incapable of doing certain things to us.

Today we are going learn 7 things that God CANNOT do or is incapable of doing because of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

Law

1. God CANNOT operate according to the Law.

Jesus Christ came and finished up with the Law by fulfilling its requirements and therefore the law is "useless" and expired. We are no longer under the law but under Jesus (Grace).

- Christ is the end of the law......   - Romans 10:4

- ......I have not come to abolish them (law) but to fulfill them.....Matthew 5:17

- By calling this covenant New, He has made the first one (law) obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear. - Hebrews 8:13

- For sin shall not be your master, because you are NOT under law, but under grace -Romans 6:14

- All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."- Galatians 3:10

- Some of you are trying to obey the law, so that God will call you good. If you do this, you have been cut off from Christ. You have lost the blessing of God - Galatians 5

Sin

2. God CANNOT remember your sins.

Jesus paid the price for our sins. He took our sins and placed it upon Himself and He paid for the punishment, the guilt and condemnation for our sins on our behalf. And because of that, God does not remember and count   your sins against you because He remembered and counted it on Jesus. The main reason that Jesus (Savior) came is to save us from our sins!

- She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Yeshua, which means Savior], for He will save His people from their sins - Matthew 1:21

- "Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow.Though they are red like crimson,I will make them as white as wool - Isaiah 1:18

- " For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will remember NO MORE   "- Hebrews 8:12

- God says " I will not remember their sins and wrong-doings anymore."   - Hebrews 10:17

- Blessed he is whose wrongdoing is forgiven, and whose sin is covered!
Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit - Psalm 32:1-2

- God made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. - 2 Corinthians 5:21

- ......Who forgives of all your iniquities - Psalm 103:3

- You took away Your people's guilt; You covered all their sin - Psalm 85:2

- ........your iniquity and guilt are taken away, and your sin is completely atoned for and forgiven - Isaiah 6:7

***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Condemnation

3. God CANNOT condemn you

Jesus was condemned at the Cross for you and as you. Today when you sin, you don't have to feel condemned for that sin because Jesus took all your condemnation of sins and died for it. Today you can come into God's presence boldly and you can expect God to be for you and not against you.

Very easy, if you are a Christian then No condemnation. Whatever good or bad you say, think or do, there is NO condemnation. Jesus settled our condemnation for us on the Cross

- So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus - Romans 8:1

- Let us then fearlessly, confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of Grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us), that we may receive Mercy [for our failures] and find Grace to help in good time for every need - Hebrews 4:16

- Who then will condemn us? No one! — for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God's right hand, pleading for us - Romans 8:34

************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Curses

4. God CANNOT curse you

God cannot curse you today. God's "curses" fell on Jesus on the Cross. Jesus became our Curse and paid the price by being a punishment for our curses.

- Christ purchased our freedom by redeeming us from the curse (doom) of the Law and its condemnation by He Himself becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (crucified)

***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Anger

5. God CANNOT get angry with you

God's anger fell upon Jesus on the Cross. Jesus consumed all of God's wrath and anger and He paid the price for us and as us.

- For this is like the days of Noah to Me; as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I SWORN that I will NOT be angry with you or rebuke you - Isaiah 54:9

************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Punishments

6. God CANNOT punish you

Jesus was punished on our behalf. Whatever punishments that we were suppose to receive fell upon Jesus on the Cross.

- Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!

- But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away......Yet the L ord laid on him the sins of us all.

- He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter...... Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But He was struck down for our rebellion.

- He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a
criminal;..........Yet when his life is made an offering for sin,............for he will bear all their sins. He was counted among the rebels.......He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels - Isaiah 53:4-12

Separation and Rejection

7. God CANNOT leave you, forsake you, reject you or separate from you.

People have said that if you have sinned or did anything that is against God, God will not be there for you or He will leave you. All these are lies from the pit of hell. Jesus was left all alone on the Cross. God left Him alone and Jesus cried " My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me, deserting Me and leaving Me helpless and abandoned?

Remember, Jesus was taking our place on the Cross for our punishments. Jesus was left alone so that today God will NEVER leave us nor Forsake us EVEN if we have sinned because God does Not remember our sins anymore because of the Finish Work of Jesus Christ.

- He was despised and rejected.....Isaiah 53:3

- .......If God is for us, who can ever be against us? - Romans 8:31

- God Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down - Hebrews 13:5

- Though my father and mother forsake me,   the LORD will receive me - Psalm 27:10

- And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow— not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below — indeed, NOTHING in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord - Romans 8:38-39

- Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you - Deuteronomy 31:6.
