If we say God is good then how does HE sound?

Jesus answered. "No one is good except God alone - Luke 18:19

" God is good! ......All the time"
" All the time! ....... God is good "

We have heard this many times during church services and in Christian songs. We Christians love using this word   "God is good" but if we say God is good God then how does He sound?

Remember, this good God happens to live inside of us.

Down the years we have heard many Christians telling us that God told them that they were being sinful or disobedient or God told them how disappointed He is with them. Some of them told me that God used sickness, trials and sorrows to teach them a lesson so that they will start living a Godly life and spend more time with Him.

Many believers are looking out for God's discipline instead of His love, mercy and grace.

I had a friend who told me that he had lost temper and got angry with someone and the Lord told him that he should not have done that. Later on I asked him what else did the Lord tell him and he said nothing else. I asked him how he felt after the Lord spoke to him and he said that he felt bad and he was very disappointed on why he had done that. He felt abit down.

Think about it........The devil condemns you, you condemn yourself, people condemn you and now! you think God condemns you. How not to loose?! Where is hope?

By the Grace of God I explained to him that what he heard was not God. Our Bible tells us in Psalm 3:3 that God is a shield for me, my glory, and the LIFTER of my head. God does NOT make you feel down. He lifts you up.

Revelation 5:5 says that God is described as the Lion of Judah
but 1 Peter 5:8 tells us that the devil, roams around like a lion roaring.
The enemy sounds like God but God is good. The devil is the accuser of our brethren - Revelation 12:10. God is not.

God does not make you feel disappointed, sad, guilty, condemned, confused, frustrated, stressed or anything else that make you feel down. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly. Anything that makes you feel down is NOT from God.

God is a good God.

So how does God sound? ( Listening to Voice of God )

Based on the Living Word of God which I will show in a whiles time, this is the difference between the voice of God and the voice of the enemy. Lets say you really did something wrong....

Devil:   Son, you should not have done that . (full stop)
the next thing you find yourself unworthy, disturbed, disappointed, disobedient and condemned. Now you are angry all the more because you are down.

God: Son, you should not have done that, let me fight for you instead but its OK, I died for it. I love u. There is no condemnation.
the next thing you find yourself at peace, lifted up, loved, accepted and joyful. Now, out that Love, you would want to forgive and love others. We love because He first loved us.

Many Christians are suffering within by hearing a wrong voice. Anything that makes you feel down is NOT from God.

Based on the Word of God and the FINISH work of Jesus Christ we can find out how God sounds.

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall   everything I have told you - John 14:26

The Holy Spirit Comforts you, Counsel's you, Helps you, Intercessors for you, Advocate and fights for you, Strengthens you and Stands by for you. John 16:10 tells us that the Holy Spirit convicts and convinces us of Righteousness, our Right Standing with God.

God is always telling us how right we are in Christ. Not how wrong we are. He is telling us how the Cross paid our sins and lawless deeds away. He died for our guilt and condemnation. He is convicting! and convincing us of that.

Many Christians use old testament scriptures to judge themselves and say that that was how God spoke to them but today we are IN Christ. Jesus said in Luke 24:44 that all that is written concerning Me in the law of Moses, prophets and psalms must be fulfilled. Jesus fulfilled everything on the Cross including your sins, unrighteousness and lawless deeds, thoughts and words and that's why He cried out " It is finished!! "

Thank God its finished. Its all about Jesus.

John 15:26 tells us that when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes from the Father, He will testify regarding Me.

The Holy Spirit is testifying regarding Jesus and His Finish Work. The Holy Spirit tells you only the Truth that Jesus died and paid for your sins, unrighteousness and lawless deeds. And no matter what you do, think or say.......You are always righteous, blameless and accepted.

You are always righteous in Christ - 2 Corinthians 5:2.

In closing, I'm going to leave with you some scriptures based on the Word of God and the Finish Work of Jesus Christ and you conclude how God speaks to you and how He would sound. Remember, this is the Word of Christ, not doctrines, not denomination or not the words of men.

There is therefore now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus -
Romans 8:1

For I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more. - Hebrews 8:12

“I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” - Hebrews 10:17

I believe the English here is very simple. God does not condemn you and He does not remember your sins anymore because of the Finish Work of Jesus Christ.

God is a good God and He sounds very Good. Even if you do something wrong, He cannot remember it. Infact if you really and truly go by   Romans 8:1, Hebrews 8:12 & Hebrews 10:17 this is how God sounds when you have done something wrong

God: Son / Daughter, I love you and I died for that. You are the apple of my eye and I am very well pleased in you.

God does not condemn you or count your sins against you because of Jesus. God can't remember them. And this God lives inside of you. Hear the right voice cos many Christians are suffering within by hearing the wrong voice.

Be blessed by the Grace of God.......
