The Grace of God makes you more Accepted, Bold & Confident - Victor King
But by the GRACE (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His Grace towards me was not for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the GRACE of God which was with me - 1 Corinthians 15:10
The Grace of God is the Finish Work of Jesus Christ. What we were suppose to go through, Jesus went on our behalf. We did not deserve it but He took all the punishment for us and as us and died on the Cross. Jesus was judge for us. He died to pay for the punishment of our sins, failures, guilt and wrong deeds, thoughts and words.
Grace always amazes me. Gods Grace is so beautiful. But!......
We have heard that if the Grace of God is being preached with no rules and regulations "attached" to it then people will go out there and sin like crazy. They will take it as a license to sin. People have said that the message of Grace will make someone more lazy and ineffective for the Kingdom of God.
Well, nothing could be further from the Truth and when you know the Truth, the Truth will set you free!!!!
If the message of Grace which is the Finish Work of Jesus Christ makes people go crazy then allow me by the Grace if God to show you from the Word of the Living God that Grace makes you more Accepted, Bold and Confident.
Lets look at a man who heard the Grace message, which is the Finish Work of Jesus and His life was Changed tremendously. He wasn't living a crazy sinful life after hearing it.
He is none other than Prophet Isaiah.
The Bible tells us of this beautiful story of the True Life Transformation of Isaiah after hearing the Grace Message in Isaiah 6:1-8
Isaiah says:
1. In the year that King Uzziah died, In a vision I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and the skirts of His train filled the [most holy part of the] temple.
2. Above Him stood the seraphim; each had six wings: with two [each] covered his [own] face, and with two [each] covered his feet, and with two [each] flew.
3. And one cried to another and said, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!
4. And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
( Isaiah saw the Great Glory of God and the awesome presence of God but there was a small problem here. Isaiah was full of condemnation! guilt! and fear! He proved it in his speech )
5. Then said I, Woe is me! For I am undone and ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!
( Have you noticed that in all Isaiah's mistakes and unrighteousness, God still appeared to him! Isaiah did not deserve it but God showed him His Grace. Lets move on...... )
6. Then flew one of the seraphim [heavenly beings] to me, having a live coal in his hand which he had taken with tongs from off the altar;
( A live burning coal is picture of Jesus Christ. Jesus was burnt on the Cross for us. He consumed all of God's fire for us...... )
7. And with it he touched my mouth and said, Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity and guilt are taken away, your sin is completely atoned for and forgiven.
( Amen!!!!! That was the Grace message!! You just read your Bible..... Isaiah heard the Finish Work of Jesus Christ. There was NO rules or regulations "attached" to that message from God through the heavenly being.
This fearful, hopeless, guilty and condemned Isaiah heard the pure with no strings attached Grace message AND did that make him want to go out there and sin like crazy???? )
( Lets find out in the next verse what the Grace of God did to him.......... Did it make him holy or sinful? )
8. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
( Amazing! This SAME Isaiah in verse 5 who was feeling so fearful, condemned and guilty to even look at God is now volunteering! to serve God!!!! We serve because He first served us at the Cross)
What happen to him? What happen to his unclean lips and unclean dwelling and friends? He heard that Jesus died for them and God does not remember his sins anymore!(Hebrews 8:12 7 10:17) His sins are all forgiven
His tone of speech changed. He sounded more bold and confident. He feels like he is so accepted by God that he wants to serve God to nations! He became more effective for God after hearing the Grace message!
The Grace of God changed his life. When he heard that his iniquity, guilt and sins are completely atoned for and forgiven, he did not go out there and lived a sinful life. Infact, it made him to be a Great Prophet to nations and he prophesied the Savior, His death and the Salvation to mankind. He himself was made to prophesy the finish work (Isaiah 53-54) by which he was saved.
Grace eats sin. Where sin abounds, Grace much more abounds. Sin shall have no dominion over you for you are not under law but under Grace. Infact in 1 Corinthians 15:10, Paul says that the Grace of God made him work harder than the rest. Grace makes you more hardworking.
Lean on His Grace and see all your bad and unclean habits fade away. Trust in the Cross. Trust that God does NOT remember your sins anymore. He is NOT counting it against you. The same message that was preached to Isaiah is being preached to you today " your iniquity and guilt are taken away, your sin is completely atoned for and forgiven.
Do you believe it????
Anyway, Grace is not just a sermon, doctrine or message. Grace is JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF!!!!! Check it out!
For the Grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind - Titus 2:11
Its all about the Grace of God. Rest in His Grace and let His grace carry you through. His Grace will make you more Accepted, Bold, Courageous, Confident, Holy, Effective and many other True life transformation, amen!
Do not be carried about by different and alien teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and strengthened by means of Grace (God's favor and spiritual blessing) not by foods (teachings) which have not benefited those devoted to them
- Hebrews 13:9
